  • Analyze the Holocaust, including antisemitism, persecutions, Hitler's "Final Solution," liberation, postwar trials, and the creation of Israel.
  • Explain U.S. military intelligence and technology, including island hopping, the Manhattan Project, and bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
  • Describe the significance of the U.S. role in the Allied victory, the Marshall Plan, and the United Nations.
