  • Compare and contrast the development of Central and Southern Africa including the political systems of Songhai, Asante, Kongo, and Zulu empires.
  • Analyze the adoption of African Christianity in Kongo and compare it to the practice of Indigenous religions in the Zulu Empire.
  • Identify trading partners, resources, and products exchanged with major central and southern African empires.
