  • Explain how themes are developed or conveyed through specific details.
  • Describe plots in stories as a sequence of events that develops the central conflict and resolution.
  • Identify initiating events, climax, and resolution in plots.
  • Explain how events from the plot cause the character(s) to change or evolve.
  • Explain how the development of characters or settings impacts the plot.
