- Summarize the story or play, including the overarching theme and lessons learned.
- Explain how themes are developed or conveyed through specific details.
- Describe plots in stories as a sequence of events that develops the central conflict and resolution.
- Identify initiating events, climax, and resolution in plots.
- Explain how events from the plot cause the character(s) to change or evolve.
- Explain how the development of characters or settings impacts the plot.
